Features of Alpine Navigation

Alpine offers the following features, depending on model.

Touch Control Output: By pressing the virtual buttons on the monitor screen, navigation is simpler and faster to use. ( applicable to: IVA-D310R/RB 7inch monitor & TME-M770 6.5inch monitor )

Map Zoom: This feature lets you adjust the map resolution- to see the whole picture or zoom in on the details.

Intersection Zoom: This display mode shows route close-ups, remaining distance to the intersection, and the exit number or name required.

Highway Mode with TMC Events: This display feature informs you of the facilities along your journey: petrol stations, restaurants, parking, are but a few, including TMC which alerts you of any traffic problems between the facilities.

3D Motorway Junction Guidance: This is a 3D view that clearly guides you through junctions and exits you are approaching.

Dynamic Route Guidance: Dynamic route guidance will automatically search for an alternative if the TMC system has warned of an accident or traffic problem, and will give you the choice of changing your route or staying on course. You can select the best route by checking the distance and estimated time of your choices, which are shown on the display.

Points of Interest: Alpine navigation systems can find many points of interest along your journey. For ease of recognition, many 3D icons have also been incorporated.

Traffic Vision: The TMC feature clearly shows up-to-minute traffic conditions, comprising of three colours, allowing you to decide whether you should continue on that route or to take an alternative route, to save time on your journey.
